• Crash Testing Attendance - Vancouver, BC, two-day meeting regarding (a) staged "under-ride" crash testing and (b) instruction in photogrammetry, under auspices of the SAE Accident Investigation Practices (AIP) Standards Committee, 1996.
• SAE Congress - Detroit (week-long session) every year (except 1997) since I joined the SAE in February, 1987. During this period I have attended hundreds of half-hour presentations of papers relating to motor vehicle accident reconstruction and related topics. During the past several years I have helped organize such sessions, in particular with respect to computer-generated animations and simulations used in accident reconstruction.
• AAFS Annual Meeting - I have attended the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) since shortly after joining the organization in 1989. These Meetings include a very full program in forensic science, including a two-day program in the Engineering Sciences. I am a member of the Engineering Sciences Section of the AAFS and have both organized these programs and presented talks at them.
• "Biomechanics of Impact Trauma" — Two-day course sponsored by Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM) and International Research Council on the Biomechanics of Impact (IRCOBI), Chicago, Illinois 1995.

• Field tests of vehicle yawing at Transport Canada vehicle test facility in Blaineville, P.Q., August and October, 1990. These were tests that I organized and ran, with the assistance of Transport Canada personnel, including Brian Hendrick.
